IT STARTED WITH ONE SIMPLE QUESTION.

Who is best equipped to teach young athletes the proper fundamentals of fastpitch softball?

For us, the answer was clear: current college coaches, professionals who spend every day teaching, developing, and preparing athletes to compete at a higher level.

Many of the coaches in our network played fastpitch at a high level before building successful careers as coaches. Others worked their way through the high school ranks, developing strong programs and proving their ability to teach and develop athletes before advancing to the college game.

There’s a difference between knowing how to perform a skill and knowing how to develop that skill in someone else. Great coaching requires the ability to see what an athlete needs, explain it in a way she understands, correct it when necessary, and build on it over time. That’s the experience we look for in every Fastpitch Masters instructor. Our instructors teach the game every day. They build practices, identify mechanical issues, communicate corrections, adapt instruction to different ages and abilities, and understand how fundamentals connect as an athlete develops.

Today, young athletes have more opportunities than ever to attend camps led by recognizable college players, NIL athletes, and professional players. Those experiences can be exciting, but Fastpitch Masters was built for a different purpose. We choose coaches whose profession is developing athletes. We don’t select instructors based on followers, name recognition, or where they played. We select coaches based on their ability to coach.
